Small bird cages

When it comes to bird cages, bigger is usually better when finding a home for your pet bird. If your pet looks bigger than a “small” but is smaller than a “medium” bird, then it is recommended that you buy a larger cage. Small bird cages should be large enough to allow your pet to fully spread his wings and to sit on the top perch while having enough head room.

In addition, the tail feathers should not touch the floor of the cage. Take note that breed recommendations for small bird cages are general guidelines. You should still evaluate your individual pet’s needs to determine the right size you should buy. Also ensure that the bird cage you are considering to purchase is safe.
