If they are not sleeping, cats are roaming around. They climb bookshelves, jump on chairs and bother the birds who are napping on the tree. Cats need to be entertained, too, but getting them cat toys is not as easy as going to the store and picking up the first toys that we find. Different toys appeal to different cats. Observe your cat for a little while and try to find out what things attract him and what things he enjoy doing. If he likes to stay in his corner and play with cat toys, get him several small toys and give him only a few pieces at a time. That way he will not easily get bored. Some cats like to climb trees and banisters. That is a sign that he will love a cat climbing tree. Choose one that he can mage easily considering his size. It will keep them busy for hours.
