cat houses

Having a cat as a pet seems a natural thing to do for kids. Just like my youngest child who adores all kinds of cat. When she was about 5 years old, she used to bug me to adopt every alley cat we happen to pass by. When she turned 9, my husband and I finally gave in to her ardent wish for a cat. Her eyes truly lit up when we brought home her own cat. And like most children, she immediately baptized her new ward with a “Jolly” name.

The cat may be ordinary looking but for my child “Jolly” was her most precious jewel. As expected the kid and the kitten became inseparable. Then came the building of Jolly’s home, my child collected all the shoe boxes, old linens, tattered pillows and her old stuff toys to create a makeshift abode for her pet. It doesn’t look like any other cat houses but it sure made Jolly very comfortable.
