There are certain smells that I do not tolerate inside the house. That is because these odors are easily prevented, or taken care of. Among them are smelly sneakers, unwashed gym wear, wet dog, and forgotten or neglected garbage.

What I do is to place air fresheners in strategic places to combat that musty home smell. I also make sure that my kids take care of their sports clothes and shoes. As for the dog, I asked my husband to get a dog deodorizer. We also make sure that whoever is assigned to garbage duty does his job every night. By doing so, there’s no accessible garbage that our dog can try digging into.
