Pets are fun when they are healthy. When they get sick it can send the owner to a panic as to what to do. Some of the more common medical pet disorders will involve infections and allergies. Sometimes they ingest something that can cause intestinal problems that can lead to diarrhea. As they grow older they can incur heart disease, arthritis and fractures.

It is always good practice to bring your pet to the veterinarian as soon as you notice something irregular. Trying to apply your own pet medication might actually worsen the situation. An experienced vet can often get an accurate diagnosis with just a good exam and history. In some cases, there is more than one problem going on. Only a vet will recognize this and be able to give the proper medication.
