Since we absolutely love pets in our home, each of my kids have their own dogs to take care of. This was actually my husband’s idea, as he wanted to teach my kids the importance of responsibility in them. To have a dog depending on my kids would allow them to take full responsibility for their pets and make sure they are fit and healthy at all times. We get to teach them a lot of values without them noticing it.

This is far better than having to reprimand them of proper values which they can get pretty tired of. Given the number of pets we have at home, I would usually stock up in a number of dog supplies to make sure all the requirements of the pets are attended to. Now all the kids have to do is to get what they need and make sure the pets are taken care of at all times.
