Safe Treats for Your Dog
A great way to encourage your dog to behave, aid in training is to give them treats like dog biscuits. You can also just give your dog a special treat now and then to let them know you love them. But dogs can be spoiled just as easily as children can, so giving treats all the time will make good behavior on their part lose its meaning. There are other concerns in giving your dog too many treats such as a harmful ingredient your dog is repeatedly exposed to. A lot of dog treats are made to strengthen and clean their teeth, and contain vitamins to improve their digestive system.
Many foods and treats sold on mass scales throughout the years, especially for dogs, were found to contain many ingredients that were actually harmful to the animal. Treats and foods for dogs, even today, can include harmful ingredients such as dairy products, garlic, or onion, wheat gluten, liver, and salt. Chocolate is also toxic for dogs. All of these can cause a lot of diseases in animals when given to the animal in huge quantities. Reading the ingredients panel of your dog food could just save your pet’s life.
