Ferrets love to sleep inside their hiding places. Unfortunately, this can sometimes pose a risk if your pet’s favorite spot is inside your recliner or sofa bed. When opened, he may be crushed. Or if he prefers to burrow between cushions and mattresses, there is also a danger of suffocation.

Buy your pet his own ferret cozy igloo. This would be a safe place for him to burrow and sleep in. Take note that ferrets are curious animals that can get into scrapes from all the exploring they do. So make sure to ferret-proof your home to keep him from finding new ways to climb or get into or under things that could cause him harm.
