I plan to surprise my 7-year-old son with a ferret as a pet. He has been bugging me to get him one. I will also get this plush ferret bed with pillows and covers to keep this fuzzy animal comfortable. When I saw the bed, I got all excited too.
 
I used to be wary of getting a ferret for a pet. My hesitance faded when I learned that domestic ferrets are great pets. They are intelligent, lively, furry mammals and are easy to care for.
