The Dream of Every Kid
Every kid who has seen a horse dreams of owning one. Unfortunately it is an impractical dream for most. Horses need lots of space to run. Untamed they can go for miles and miles in a day. The best most can hope for is to take lessons in the park or the stable. There you can learn how to ride them as well as care for them. I was fortunate enough to get riding lessons. I look forward to them and cherished every session. The saddest part of the lessons is when I had to go get the rope horse leads and snapped it on the halter of my horse and lead him back to the stable.
For those who don’t know what a rope horse leads is, it’s like a leash for horses. You use it to lead your horse to and from the barn. You can also use it to tie horses when you get down. It is best to have a couple of leads. They tend to get lost easily.
