A lot of pet owners are willing to spend money on their beloved charges when they get sick. Sometimes, traditional treatments do not work and alternative therapies can be availed of. One of the newest alternative cures in the field of veterinary medicine nowadays is the use of pet stem cells. This is an industry inspired by animal owners who would pay just about anything to help their ailing pets.
Unlike older therapies such as acupuncture, chiropractic and aquatic treatments, pets have been seen to be reaping the benefits of fatty-tissue stem-cell transplants. The FDA has so far approved the treatment for animals’ orthopedic problems in tendon and ligaments as well as for bone fractures and arthritis. Some pets are said to begin to feel better the same day and most improve within a week.

A few weeks ago I was down with the flu. Two weeks before that, I had really bad colds. My immune system is low. I’m always getting sick and getting colds. My doctor gave me some supplements that he said should improve my immune system. I was kidding my doctor that he should give me supplements that worked like cattle supplements.
Cattle supplements have minerals and vitamins just like most human supplements. Just like supplements they help strengthen the cow’s immune system. The cows in our province are all very healthy. In our part of the world, mad cow disease was unheard of. Apparently, the cattle supplements helped keep them free from diseases.

I have a pet puppy. Part of my nightly ritual is to walk him around the block around 10 PM. It’s my quiet time as well as my dog’s bathroom time. I do this so that he won’t have an accident inside the house. To protect both him and me during these walks, I got him a reflective dog collar.
You don’t want your dog to be road kill, right? Get a reflective dog collar. It’s quite affordable. A reflective dog collar will make it easy for motorist to spot your dog at nights. This will especially be helpful when your dog suddenly escapes and bolts away from you.

Having a puppy is like having another baby in the house. They require lots of attention. It is tiring but extremely rewarding. One annoying thing that my dog does is his excessive scratching. He scratch so much that I become itchy also just by looking at him. To prevent his excessive scratching I got him medicated dog shampoo.
Excessive scratching can be a big concern for dog owners. It might be fleas or ticks or mites. Your dog might also have some form of skin disease or just allergies. Either way, treat it as early as possible. My friend ignored his dog’s itching. This itching turned into an open wound. By the time he brought his dog to the vet, the wound turned out to be mites. Treatment for mites is so expensive. Often it can cost you more than the dog itself. If only he use medicated dog shampoo to stop the itching at the onset of the problem, he would have saved a lot.

There are two reasons why some dogs are being made to wear caps. The insulation and padding of the hat protects their delicate brain casings. Dog baseball caps protect the dog’s eyes and nose from the harsh sun. Another reason is for fashion purposes. It is a great experience to have your dog walk with you wearing the same cap as you do.
Dog baseball caps usually have two adjustable ear holes, a strong brim and Velcro chin straps. Material may be made of cotton twill or poly cotton jersey. Some caps will have special features such as the logo of your favorite MLB or NFL team. If you want your pooch to stand out at night, get him those caps with blinking LED lights. It will double as a safety feature to make sure that he does not stray far.

A well trained horse is a joy to watch. They are graceful animals that can do enormous jumps, perform sliding stops and spins, and even do tricks around a riding ring. These tricks take time to learn and are best left in the hands of professionals. Training a new horse will start with teaching him to follow instructions and instilling in him a willingness to learn. This is accomplished through a training process that develops the horse’s confidence and trust in the rider.
Even if you have entrusted horse training to a professional it will pay that you yourself know about horse training techniques. A horse training video will give you more information on techniques that are being applied on your horse. Together with books and online tips, you will be in complete understanding with the trainer. You will know what to do when problems crop up without your trainer around. It will also help you communicate more effectively with your horse.

The carrier that you will choose for your pet will depend largely on his breed and size. A dog carrier is basically meant for smaller dogs; if you have a big dog, a dog crate will be more practical. There is a wide selection of dog carriers in the market. The choice will actually hinge on how much you are willing to pay for it. You will find good looking designer carriers that can set you back more than a standard one would.
Whichever you can afford the important thing is that your dog is in a comfortable space. It should also be secure. It should have adequate room to move around in. It should have adequate ventilation. For your own convenience, check for detachable shoulder straps, and mesh viewing panels. One that can be cleaned easily will make your life easier.
