Occasionally there are free classes held in the park near our home. One such class I attended was about dog training. It was a four weekend course. During that time, I trained my dog the basics: sit, come, stop and down. It was a pretty helpful class that I really enjoyed. Next month, there will be a class about first aid for dogs. The syllabus instructed us to buy a dog first aid kit.

The class will teach us how to cure common dog ailments like rashes, insect bites and minor cuts. Also on the syllabus, are how to deal with frostbite, heat stroke, choking and a whole lot more. The class will also show us how to use a dog first aid kit. I’m really looking forward to this class. One time I lost a dog to heat stroke. So I hope with the skills that I would learn from this class, such situation will never happen again.
