stem cells for pets
There has been a lot of debate today on cloning. The issue of stem cell research has been controversial and helpful. People who oppose stem cell research are often conservatives who are pro life. The issue on stem cell research on humans and embryos might even be shrouded in secrecy to avoid unwanted attention. There is however already research done on stem cells for pets. This issue fortunately is not as controversial as conventional stem research which involves human embryos and adult stem cells.
Stem cells for pets come from adult stem cells which are injected into pets to help alleviate pet illnesses such as arthritis. Pets after all also age and go through debilitating diseases just like humans. Stem cells for pets help rebuild the damaged part of the body. Adult stem cells are used to rebuild cartilage in ailing joints. Dogs who have been treated with stem cells experience relief from pain. Some research even shows permanent relief from pain as a result of stem cell treatments.
