Paw Prints
When my dog died last month, I was really devastated about the whole thing. I never expected that he was to fall ill and even had to witness his suffering. I knew then that I needed to let him go, so I agreed with the veterinarian to get him to sleep permanently. He was my best friend and companion, and he will be truly missed.
I decided to bury him in a pet cemetery near where I live so I can properly find a spot where I can visit him all the time. This is but proper considering the way he has helped me in life, even if it was only his presence which he contributed during the most difficult times I experienced. I even got one of those dog headstones as a marker for him. He will always be in my heart and no other pet can ever replace him.
